Milita Moeschberger Obituary

Milita M. Moeschberger, 96, of Decatur, IN formerly of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Adams Woodcrest. She was born on August 12, 1918 in Adams County, IN, to the late Noah and Lula (Shoaf) Egly. On March 29, 1941 she married Arthur W. Moeschberger; he preceded her in death on November 23, 2007. She was a member of St. Luke Church, where she served as Past President of the Women’s Guild, was in the Senior Citizens Sunday School Class, and was a former Sunday School Teacher. She was an accomplished seamstress, avid quilter, loved refinishing furniture, and crocheting. She is survived by a son, Olin W. (Shirley) Moeschberger of Monroe; a daughter, Maris (Paul) Fried of Menomonee Falls, WI; a son, Don G. (Connie) Moeschberger of Kokomo; a daughter Rev. Karen (Jim McCaffrey) Moeschberger of Allentown, PA; a sister Ireta Harmon of Decatur; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister Delores Joray. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at St. Luke Church with calling 1 hour prior to the service from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Wertenberger and burial will take place in the St. Luke Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Luke Church or Family Life Care.
