Elsie R Centers age 90, mother of Doug Centers, died Tuesday July 21, 2015 at the Terrace in Berea. Elsie had been employed by Westinghouse in Richmond, and Wal Mart in Berea, and she was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church. Elsie was born in Jessamine County to the late Horace and Mary Stinnett Hager. She was also preceded in death her siblings Harvey Hager, Jeanette Neeley, and David Hager. Elsie is survived by her son Doug (Brenda) Centers of Berea, her sisters Ethel Anglin of Berea, Evelyn Ingram of Berea, and Dorene Matthews of Indiana, her grandsons Keith, Tim, Greg, Mark, and Steve Centers all of Berea, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 am at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Chrisman officiating, burial will be in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday July 23, 2015 from 6-9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home.
