Ruby Nell Cooper Goad 74, of Demopolis, passed away July 8,2015, at home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday July 13,2015, at Evergreen Cemetery in Vance and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel directing. Ruby was born July 3,1941, in Tuscaloosa to Eldon Houston and Hester Lily Mae Weddle Cooper. Ms. Goad was preceded by her parents, Eldon Houston and Hester Lily Mae Weddle Cooper ; son, Dwayne West. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Blevins ( Scott) of Demopolis and Christie Bunn Smith (Maurice) of Prattville; sons, Mark Goad of Demopolis and Anthony West of Woodstock; sister, Bettie Sue Melton of Heiberger; Wayne Cooper (Diana) of Missouri; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
