Frances Hardin

Frances Noel Hardin, age 78, 126 Brown Lane, Erwin passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Unicoi County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care Unit. She was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and a daughter of the late Tom and Nancy Cutshall Sparks. Mrs. Hardin was a homemaker. She was a member of the West Park Street Free Will Baptist Church. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of fifty-one years, Fred Hardin; Three sons: Tony Sparks, Erwin; Mike Sparks, Jonesborough and Nathan Hardin, Erwin. Two daughters: Kim Smith and husband, Mark, Jonesborough; Nancy Thompson and husband, Jim, Erwin. One sister, Gladys Tipton, Erwin. Eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until the hour of service on Saturday, July 4, 2015 from the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Burnie Jones will officiate the 2:00 PM funeral service. Music will be provided by Inez Chandler. Pallbearers will be: Chris Hughes, Justin Hughes, Jason Sparks, Mark Smith, Michael Sparks and Jim Thompson. Interment will follow in the White-Haun Cemetery, Erwin.
