Evelyn B. Warner, 88, of Winchester, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center with her family by her side. Mrs. Warner was born April 30, 1927 in Petersburg, WV; the daughter of Jasper Lee Berg, Sr. and Esta Mae Turner Berg. She owned and operated Warner Fuel Company with her husband for over 20 years. She was a realtor with Huntsberry Realty for over 25 years. She helped to organize the Women of the Moose in Winchester. She married Edgar Kenneth Warner on July 29, 1945 in Winchester. Mr. Warner preceded her in death on February 27, 1968. She is survived by her daughter, Julia Warner Belford of Winchester; five grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a daughter in law, Peggy Pumphrey. She was preceded in death by a son, Steven Kenneth Warner; two sisters, Ruth R. Rexrode and Mernie A. Ridgeway; two brothers, Henry Daniel Berg and Jasper Lee Berg; and a grandson, Randall Heishman. Services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of her husband, 1833 Plaza Drive, Winchester, VA 22601.
