Elizabeth Dietrich-Petrina Obituary

DIETRICH-PETRINA (Johnson), Betty- Passed away surrounded by her family at the Sakura House on Friday June 26th, 2015, in her 69th year. Betty will be remembered for her warm and open heart, love of all animals and her beautiful flower gardens. Beloved wife of Ron Petrina. Loving mother to Jenny (Rob) Dempsey, and Rob (Lorraine Blackwell) Johnson and step-mother to Lorrie Petrina. Cherished grandmother to Liam and Ella Dempsey; Terran and Rowan Johnson; and Noah Petrina. Dear sister to Joe (Linda) Dietrich. Betty will be sadly missed by her cousins and many nieces and nephews. She will be lovingly remembered by her dear friends Janette (Richard) Sims and their children; Darren and Lauren and families. When Betty wasn’t busy raising her children, she was a secretary for over 20 years at the Thames Valley District School Board. She was a caring grandma who loved to spoil her grandchildren. As a dedicated animal lover, Betty will be remembered by many for her daily walks to the Pittock Dam with her dogs. In her younger years, Betty spent many hours horseback riding, playing tennis and water skiing. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home. 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday July 2, 2015 from 7-9pm, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Friday July 3, 2015 at 11:00am. If desired, memorial contributions to the VON Sakura House and Oxford County Animal Rescue would be appreciated. Online condolences at www.brockandvisser.com
