Mr. Sidney Duff Pinter, age 65, a resident of Polkville, MS passed away on Monday June 22, 2015 at the G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery V.A. Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Thursday June 25, 2015 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday June 26, 2015 from 8:30 AM until 9:50 AM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Friday June 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Independence Methodist Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Mickey Walls. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Pinter had lived in Polkville, MS for the past 33 years, formerly living in Pulaski, MS and surrounding areas. He was a Christian by faith. He loved his family and his music, especially Johnny Cash. Mr. Pinter is preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Clara Pinter; one grandchild; four brothers; and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Faye Pinter of Polkville, MS; four daughters, Shelia Myers and husband James of Brandon, MS, Linda Fortenberry of Polkville, MS, Tina Adcox and husband Mark of Polkville, MS, Tracy Moore and husband Kenneth of Cooperville, MS; two sons, Terry Pinter and wife Carrie of Polkville, MS, Dwight Pinter of Kiln, MS; eighteen grandchildren, one great grandchild. Pallbearers are Eddie Peterson, Anthony Fortenberry, Austin Fortenberry, Dustin Pinter, Joseph Pinter and David Pinter.
