Geraline Mayberry Moore, 89, of Union Township, passed away the morning of June 11, 2015 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. Born on January 17, 1926 in Buffalo, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Ellen Hill King.

Geraline worked as a licensed practical nurse for many local nursing homes. A woman who truly enjoyed working, she became a private duty nurse following her retirement. Geraline’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Geraline is survived by her children, Terry Mayberry of Ashtabula, OH, Christine Marrangoni and husband Paul of Maryland, Charlotte Bartley and husband Dale of New Castle, and Elizabeth Walters and husband Terry of New Castle; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Dale Mayberry, half-sister, Betty Walters, and grandsons, Jared and John Bartley.

Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd. Services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00am at the funeral home, officiated by Reverend Dennis Bupp.

Entombment will take place in Castleview Memorial Gardens.
