FRANK, Alice J. (nee Baute) - of Woodstock, passed away Saturday May 23, 2015 at the Woodstock Hospital at the age of 92. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Jack E. Frank who predeceased her in 1998. Dear loving and caring mother of Carol (predeceased 2014) and Doug Thorogood of Paris, John and Mary Frank of Ingersoll, Daniel and Patricia Frank of Port Elgin, Pauline Piett and Robert Zylstra of Woodstock, Geraldine and Robert Gray of Sombra. Loving Grandma of 14 grandchildren (and their spouses), 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Alice is survived by her sister Louise (Bill) Brodie of Chatham, brother Frank (Rita) Baute of Tilbury and in-laws Betty Baute of Tilbury, Shirley Frank of London, LouAnn Frank of Texas, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Carolyn Piett (2008), her sisters, brother and in-laws; Clara and Alex Ternoey, Flo and Bill Cloutier, Leone and Robert Kelly, Charley Baute, Velma Baute, Bill and Marion Frank, Merle and Russell Connell, Gerry Frank and Ted Frank. Alice’s family meant the most to her and she was an active member of the former Faith (Central) United Church, the U.C.W. and attended Learning Unlimited. Visitation will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday May 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm, where the complete funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am.
