Linda Moore

Linda Sue Moore, 70, of Salem, passed away at 1:40am, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Clarksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Baltimore, MD, June 10, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert Seymour and Laura Jean Ross Elliott. She is survived by four children, Danny Moore and his wife Brenda, Shinnston, Steven McVickers and his wife Kim, Clarksburg, Christine Moore , Clarksburg, Philip Moore and his wife Ellie, Clarkburg, 10 grandchildren, , 18 great grandchildren, two brothers, Robert Jack Elliott and his wife Sharon, Lost Creek, James Burl Elliott and his wife Sandy, Clarksburg, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Riddle, Barbara Casto and her husband Don, and one brother, Randy “Seymour” Elliott. Linda was a long-time waitress at the Brunswick Coffee Shop on Pike St. in Clarksburg and retired as a CNA at Clarksburg Continuous Care Nursing Facility. She enjoyed fishing and caming. She was a loving mother and grandmother, a great cook, and a dog lover. A memorial gathering will be held from 11am until the time of the service at 2pm, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston.
