Elsa Agnes Rauter passed away May 13, 2015 at the Hood River Care Center. Elsa Troutman (her maiden name) was born November 14, 1917 and was 97 years of age at the time of her passing. Elsa Troutman met and fell in love with Royal Rauter on June 20, 1937 and they married. They celebrated their 75th anniversary. They had two children, Jeri Lee and James Allen. Elsa is survived by her daughter, Jeri; 3 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband Royal, her son James, one grandson, and a nephew. Services will be held Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Warden Community Church. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Warden Community Church memorial fund can be made. She will be buried side by side with Royal at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Warden, Washington.
