Brenda Lee Tisinger, 52, of Winchester, VA passed away due to complications from pneumonia at Blue Ridge Hospice In Care Center, May 13, 2015. She was born January 20, 1963 in Winchester, the daughter of Norman and Nancy Tisinger. She graduated from John Handley High School with the class of 1982. Brenda worked as a dietary aide at Shawnee Springs Nursing Home. Along with her parents, she is survived by her sister DeAnn R. Whitacre (Scott) of Gore, VA; a nephew, Thatcher and two nieces, Emily and Natalie. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 17, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A Funeral Service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Kernstown United Methodist Church, 3239 Valley Pike, Winchester. Entombment will take place at Shenandoah Memorial Park followed by a reception at Kernstown United Methodist Church.
