David Richard Powell, Sr., age 54 of Filer City, Michigan died Friday morning, May 8, 2015 at his home. He was born on February 9, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan the son of Robert Lee Powell, Sr. and the late Betty (Ordan) Powell. He married Lisa Marie Jordan on July 25, 1986 in Detroit. Employed as laborer in construction, David enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife; Lisa Powell of Filer City, four children; Amber Powell, David Powell, Jr, & Amanda Powell all of Manistee and Angela Clemons of Oklahoma and seven grandchildren.
