Doris Gail Gabbard, age 83, wife of Lee “Buddy” Gabbard of Fairview, died Thursday May 7, 2015 at her home. Doris is the daughter of the late Russell C. and Glaydth Howard Rose, she is a member of the Fairview Baptist Church where she has served as a Sunday School Teacher, Recreation Director and many other roles within the church. Doris was also preceded in death by her son Robert Russell Gabbard and her brother James Wilson Rose. Doris is survived by her husband Buddy Gabbard, her daughter Gail Lee Gabbard, and her adopted children and family from Fairview Baptist Church who loves her dearly. Funeral services will be Monday May 11, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Vaughn Rasor officiating, burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
