Douglas Peterman

Douglas Michael Peterman, 34, of Fairmont, joined his family in the afterlife due to a work-related accident on Monday, May 4, 2015. He was born in Clarksburg, March 14, 1981. He is survived by his mother, Michelle Harris Kramer and her husband Jeff, Morgantown, his father, Dean Alan Peterman and his wife Melody, Bridgeport, one son, Cooper Dean Harbert Peterman, his companion, Megan Linn, Fairmont, one sister, Meghan Peterman, Morgantown, niece, Izzy Riley, his maternal grandparents, Sonny and Loretta Harris, Ozark, AL, paternal grandparents, John and Coralene Peterman, Bridgeport, his step-siblings, Kerri, Travis, Janelle, Jeff, and Tyler, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by one infant son, Devin Michael Harbert Peterman. Doug worked as a technician for West Side Telecommunication and Communications Plus. He was a 2000 graduate of University High School, Morgantown. Doug loved to spend time with his son, Cooper, his family and friends. He also enjoyed glassblowing as a hobby. Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 2-8pm, Friday where funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, May 9, 2015. Interment will be in the Shinnston Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations for Cooper may be made to the Douglas Peterman Memorial Fund at any WesBanco location.
