Brenda Kay Utt, 49, of Shinnston, passed away at 10:58am, Sunday, May 3, 2015 at her residence. She was born in New Martinsville, WV, January 25, 1966, a daughter of the late Shirl and Bonnie Swiger Utt. Surviving are her daughter, Nicole Weekley and her husband Joshua, Clarksburg, two grandchildren, Bonnie Utt and Joshua Weekley, II, three sisters, Joan Barker, Sun Valley, Phyllis Utt and her companion Butch Ramsey, Wilsonburg, Wilma Utt and her companion Russell Stallman, Bridgeport, one brother, Carl Utt and his wife Barbara, Canton, OH, 5 nieces and nephews, and several aunts and uncles. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronnie Utt and Keith Utt, and several aunts and uncles. Brenda had formerly worked as a caretaker for the elderly. She loved her grandchildren. Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm, Thursday, May 7, 2015 with Pastor Delores White officiating.
