June McIntosh

June A. McIntosh, 81, of Decatur, died Monday, May 4, 2015 at Woodcrest Nursing Center. June was born in Iowa on June 10, 1933 to the late Harry and Ann P. (Fishnick) Kelly. On September 25, 1965 she married Vance McIntosh; he preceded her in death on July 9, 2007. June was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. She had worked for CTS in Berne. Survivors include her son, Darin (Brenda) McIntosh; two daughters, Cindy (Stan) Bertsch and Beth (Doug Putteet) Hitchcock all of Decatur; a sister, Donna Grawe of Dyersville, IA; 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son Mark Baker in 1961. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home and from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Friday, May 8th at St. Mary’s Parish Hall followed by a 3:30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Father David Voors will be officiating. Burial is in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are to St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
