Millinocket – On Saturday, April 25, 2015, L. David Nadeau, 55, passed away unexpectedly. He was born December 13, 1959, the son of Lionel and Bernice Nadeau. He was a lifelong resident of Millinocket. David was a graduate of Stearns High School, and worked for the Great Northern Paper Company. In later years, he and his wife Donna owned and operated The Downtown Restaurant where they worked tirelessly for many years. David had many interests and hobbies which he pursued in his free time. David could often be found at the Millinocket Regional Airport, flying his model airplanes. He enjoyed camping, snow sledding, and four wheeling, while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Katahdin Region. He was a wonderful and generous man who loved his family above all else. We will hold him forever in our hearts. With his passing, a bright light in our midst has been extinguished.
