Mrs. Elzenia Washington, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on April 21,2015 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Served faithfully as the First Lady of The Emmanuel Community Baptist Church 44 years. A unique soul, Elzenia was extremely caring,loyal and generous. She enjoyed cooking and singing gospel hymns. She will be greatly missed. Predeceased by parents Jim and Norvell Brown; Sister, Lucy Ann Clayborne, Brothers, Jim Brown Jr.,Jesse Morgan. Elzenia is survived by loving and devoted husband, Reverend Lee A. Washington; Niece, Trinia Brown; Great nephew, Antwan Brown (Brandy Hines) Special sister and caregiver, Willie E. Brown. She also survived by two brothers, William Brown and Willie B. (Lois Jean) Brown; Three additional sisters Ore Lee Givens, Mary Harris, and Jimela Wright; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
