James Douglas "Jimmy" Vick age 73 of Putnam, AL., died April 23, 2015 at Choctaw General Hospital. He was born December 16, 1941 in Demopolis, AL. He was former employee of Georgia-Pacific Corp. and was a member of Putnam Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret S. Vick of Putnam, AL; three sons, James Marcus Vick, Robert Gillespie Vick, and Reese Maxwell Vick of Thomasville, AL; two brothers, Phares Vick of Demopolis, AL; and Tommy Vick of Linden, AL; sister, Carolyn Nelson of Demopolis, AL; 7 grandchildren, Jamie Vick of Putnam, AL; Danielle Vick, Brelee Vick, Maggie Vick, Wil Vick, Gibson Vick, and Micah Vick of Thomasville, AL. Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 5 to 7 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held at Putnam Cemetery on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 10:00 am with Rev. Brooks Etheridge officiating.
