Vernon Swanson
Vernon W. Swanson , age 92 Long time resident of Wauwatosa and Brookfield , WI died April 12, 2015. He was born in Manistee, MI on January 23, 1923 the son of the late Willis and Hilma M. (Swanson) Swanson. He was a graduate of Manistee High School. Vern started his career as a salesman for W.A. Krueger Printing in Milwaukee. He later joined Imperial Lithographing and become co-owner and president in 1973. He also served on the board of directors of Lakeview Hospital and its foundation since 1993. Vern enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer until recent years. Survivor include his wife of 61 years; Jeanne (Lingsweiler) Swanson, his daughter; Carol (Mark) Tousignant, and grandchildren; Brian, Kathleen, and Kevin. He was also preceded in death by his Son Mark Alan and his sister Margery Jensen. Services were held Friday, April 17, 2015 in Wisconsin. Inurnment was in Wisconsin Memorial Park.Obituary
