Rita Walsh, 83, of Frederick Living, and formerly of Red Hill, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2015. She was the widow of John C. Walsh, who died in 2011. Born in Williamstown, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Tony and Mary (Esposito) Ruggiano. She worked for many years in production for Merck & Co. in West Point, before retiring in 1994. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg. She also belonged to the HOPE Gardening Club, she was a driver for Meals on Wheels in Lansdale, and then she was a driver for the Upper Perkiomen Valley Meals on Wheels. She was also a member of the Green Lane/Marlborough Lioness Club. Surviving are, a son Jim and his wife Marilyn of Telford; a daughter Linda and her husband Mike Hockman of Pennsburg; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Walsh of Perkasie; grandchildren: John, Michelle, Jessica, Kristy, Robert, and Michael; and great grandchildren: Alanna, Cayden, Leila, Reiley, Adalyn, Violet and Jacob. She was predeceased by a son John, and all of her nine siblings. Services: A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10AM On April 13, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg where all are invited to gather from 9AM until Mass begins.
