Joseph B. Moslak, Jr., 68, of Clarence, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015 at the Hershey Medical Center. Born on May 17, 1946, in Philipsburg, he was the son of the late Joseph B. and Elizabeth C. Hudak Moslak Sr. Joseph was a 1964 graduate from West Branch High School. He was enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal and was an Expert (Rifle M-14). In his earlier years, he worked in the strip mines as a right away cleaner, a Surveyor for Berger Associates, and then as a truck driver for United Natural Foods, Inc. retiring on July 6, 2005. Joseph was a devote Catholic. He attended the Queen of Archangel Roman Catholic Parish Church in Clarence. He was a long time member of the Knights of Columbus 8701 Holy Family Council in Morrisdale. He was a very loving and caring person. He loved helping people anyway he could. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Joseph is survived by one son and his wife, one daughter, Mollie A. Funk and her husband, Eric, of Bellefonte, three grandchildren; Carter and Cooper Funk, twin brother, Jerome Moslak and his wife, Victoria, of Grassflat, and two sisters; Marcy Buckman of Leesburg, FL and Bernadine Johnson of Carlyle. Along with his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by two sisters; Josephine and Jean. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11am at the Queen of Archangel Roman Catholic Parish Church in Clarence with Father Mark R. Reid officiating. Burial will be at the St. Cyril Methodius Catholic Cemetery in Winburne. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Queen of Archangel Roman Catholic Parish Church, 102 Church St. Clarence, PA 16829 or to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W. Sycamore ST. Snow Shoe.
