Rachel Bambarger Lamb, 81, of Demopolis, passed away Tuesday, March 31, at home in Demopolis. She was born Nov. 14, 1933, in Eutaw to the late Roy James and Ruth Gordon Bambarger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy James and Ruth Gordon Bambarger; brother,James Barbarger. She is survived by her husband, Donald Phillips Lamb of Demopolis; daughters, Patricia Lamb Battle of Warner Robbins, Ga. and Teresa Lamb Perret of Somerst,Ky; son, Donald Michael Lamb of Demopolis, Al; sister, Anna Bambarger Yeager of Demopolis, Al.; brother, Thomas Bambarger of Eutaw, Al.; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Johnny Johnston, A.C. Reffet, Chuck Reynolds, Keith Yeager, William Bambarger and Mike Lamb. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 11 a.m. from Mesopotamia Cemetery in Eutaw with David Bradshaw officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Demopolis Chapel Directing. In lieu of flowers Memorials May Be Made to First Christian Church, 401 Walnut Ave., Demopolis, Al., 36732.
