Joshua West

Mr. Joshua H. West, age 36, of Hampton, GA passed away on Monday, March 30, 2015 at Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin. Mr. West was born on April 18, 1978 in Decatur, GA to Terry Joe West and Mary C. Mills. Josh had great love for all things Disney and a vast knowledge of the inner workings of the company. He also loved Nascar racing and was a volunteer with Raceway Ministries Atlanta. Josh fought hard against cancer and always kept a never complain attitude throughout his battle with the disease. He loved the Lord with all his heart and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Gloria West, Willie Guy Cotner; and cousins, Patrick Ragan and Candace Cook. Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Kellie and Wes Taylor; brother, Terry “Joey” West, Jr.; grandmother, Clara Sims; two special aunts, Martha Sawyer and Jean Cook; nieces, Katelyn West, Rebekah West, Trista West and Emily Taylor; nephews, Joey West, Kolton Ingram, Kody Ingram and Zach Taylor; and many other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Kellie or Wes Taylor at Sun Trust Bank 1503 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA 30309 in Josh's memory.
