Mary A. Anderson
<p>Mary A. (Romeo) Anderson, 91, of Hillsville, PA, passed away the morning of March 31, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Born on June 15, 1923 in Hillsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Rose Feo Romeo. On June 1, 1942, she married her beloved husband, Jack W. Anderson, and the two spent over 56 wonderful years together until he preceded her in death on June 6, 1998. </p><p><br></p><p>Mary worked as a saleslady for Strouss Department Store and as a dish inspector for Shenango China. She was a member of Christ the King Parish. She was a wonderful baker. Mary will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who was a talented seamstress who was known for her clothing and making alterations.</p><p><br></p><p>Mary is survived by her sons, Jack W. Anderson, Jr. of Moon Township, PA, Gary L. Anderson and wife Patsy of Warren, OH, and Mark A. Anderson of Hillsville, PA; sister, Jane Mazar of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Nicole Pegg and husband Jeff and Matthew Anderson and wife Kimberly; great-grandchildren, Mason and Mia Pegg and Kristian Anderson. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Pamela Anderson; brothers, Carl and Clarence Romeo; and sister, Rose Ripple. </p><p><br></p><p>There are no calling hours planned. Private services will be held at Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 3000 Wilmington Rd, officiated by Father James Downs of Christ the King Parish. </p><p><br></p><p>Interment will take place at St. Lawrence Cemetery.</p>Obituary
