Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on March 29, 2015. Loving wife of Roland Pelchat and dearest mother to Melanie (Wendell) and Jason. Dearest sister of Jacqueline Pichette, Don Pichette (Linda), Paulette Ouellette (Roma), Richard Pichette (Lise), Nicole Cadeau (Norm), Stephane Pichette, Michel Pichette (Natalie) and brother in-law Roger Levesque. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, who she loved very much and her great friends and colleagues at the Comfort Inn. Predeceased by her parents Georges and Bertha Pichette and sister Huguette Levesque. Also predeceased by her in-laws Arthur and Blanche Pelchat. The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Nicole Beauvais, Dr. Kiersten Parr, Nurse Christina and her colleagues at the Timmins District Hospital and Dr. Scott Young at the Regional Cancer Centre in Sudbury for their excellent care. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 1, 2015 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow in The Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre. The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 31 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at Lessard-Stephens Funeral Home. Remembrance donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
