Robert “Bob” J. Eberhard, Sr. Robert “Bob” Eberhard, Sr., age 85 of Fountain went to be with the Lord peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family. Bob graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1948. He worked for Whirlpool Corporation for 39 and ½ years before retiring. Bob married Sally Ann Stevens in 1951. They were married for 64 years and together they raised five children. He enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing and bird watching. Bob will be sadly missed by his wife, Sally Ann Eberhard; sons, Robert (Mary) Eberhard Jr. and William (Victoria) Eberhard; daughters, Starla (Bob) Metayer, Lynette Eberhard-Daniels and Stacy (Darren) Wright; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Stella Eberhard; sister, Helena Bullinger; and brother-in-law, Victor Bullinger. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held per Bob’s request. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan.
