Louis Edward Barone, age 68, of Milford passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 in Milford Hospital. He was born on September 9, 1946 in New Haven to the late Joseph and Enez Krete Barone. He proudly serve in the US Army during the Vietnam War Era. Before retiring, he was an artist and a History Teacher at the University of New Haven, and this family owned Barone Concrete. A member of the Milford Community, he was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church. A devoted husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his loving wife Cathy Adamec Barone, daughter Brandie Smith, her husband Neil and their daughter Natalie Hall of Milford and son Tommy Rogers and Stacie Carney and their son Tyler Rogers of Nashville, TN and sister Julia Barone Engel and her husband Alan of Massachusetts. Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Joseph Barone. Calling hours are Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 2 to 3pm at the Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. Interment will be private.
