Natalie Theresa O’Brien Sayers, of Orange, entered into eternal rest Thursday, March 26, 2015 at the Regency House in Wallingford. Mrs. Sayers was born on March 31, 1930 in New Haven to the late Christopher and Natalie Gillis O’Brien. She graduated from Hillhouse High School of New Haven and attended Post Business School. Before retiring, she was employed as a medical assistant. She is predeceased by the love of her life, her best friend, and husband Frank “Rip” H. Sayers. She was a devoted mother and wife who was most proud of her family. She loved taking care of her home. Her favorite past times included preparing her families favorite foods especially her talented Irish Stew, decorating her home, caring for her dogs and organizing family gatherings. Mrs. Sayers is survived by her dedicated children Debra Howard of Windsor and Craig Sayers and his wife Joan of Orange, along with three grandchildren; Michael C. Howard and his wife Kelly of Windsor Locks and Patrick S. Howard of Windsor and Sean C. Sayers of Orange. Calling hours are Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at Smith Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad Street, Milford. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 31 in Holy Infant Church. Interment will be private.
