Jane E. Morgan

Jane E. Morgan, 93, formerly of North Point Drive, died the morning of Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Jameson Memorial Hospital. She was born December 15, 1921 in New Castle, PA and was the daughter of the late John and Carlotta Sylvester Christofer who preceded her in death. Jane married Walter R. Morgan on April 18, 1942; they were married 66 years at the time he preceded her in death.

Prior to marriage, Jane worked at Keystone Lawrence. Jane’s life work was dedicated to being a homemaker and her devotion was to her home, family, and friends. She was a member of St. Camillus Church.

Jane is survived by one daughter, Kathie Morgan of Surprise, AZ; one son, Ronald Morgan and wife Carla of Fombell, PA; four grandchildren, Christopher Crates and wife Cherrell, Janie Gibson and husband Mike, Megan Ammons and husband Ben, and Gretchen Skigis and husband Harry. Jane is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Monica, Karina, Nathan, Scarlett, and Rosalie. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank Christofer and Dominic Christofer, and one sister, Nellie Glassi. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Jane recently lost her beloved niece, Irene Marburger, who is survived by her daughter, RaeLyn Marburger.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory at 3000 Wilmington Rd. A procession will leave the funeral home Friday at 9:30am to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am at St. Camillus Church, officiated by Father Michael Peck.

Interment will take place at Castleview Memorial Gardens.
