Ray “Bud” I. Griffin Jr., age 80 of Ludington passed away on March 22, 2015 at his home. He was born on January 8, 1935 in Boyne City to the late Ray and Pansy Griffin. On September 19, 1952 Bud married Bonnie K. Hard. Bud moved to Ludington in 1954 to raise their family. He worked at Laman’s Ashphalt for 28 years. Bud is survived by his wife of 62 years, Bonnie K. Griffin of Ludington; children, Ray (Pauline) Griffin of Scottville, Bonnie L. and Frank (Diana) Hernandez both of Casa Grande, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; sisters, Pansy Knott of Wallahalla, Mary Lange of Scottville; brother, Carl Griffin Sr. of Ludington and many cousins, nieces and nephews . He was preceded by his parents; step-father, Dewey Medley; son, Carl Griffin; sisters, Thelma, Marida and Shirley and brothers, Frank, James, Russell and Dewey Jr. Funeral services for Ray “Bud” Griffin will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday March 27, 2015 at Oak Grove Funeral Home. The family will receive guests for visitation from 2:00 until 4:00 PM and also from 6:00 until 8:00 on Thursday March 26, 2015 at Oak Grove Funeral Home.
