Mr. Theodore “Bernard” Ball, age 78, of Council, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday (March 18, 2015) in a Bristol, Tennessee Hospital. Born April 14, 1936 in Buchanan County, Virginia, he was the son of the late David and Grace Bowen Ball. Theodore was a lifelong resident of Council and enjoyed farming and attending the Russell Fork Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Thurman Ball; four sisters, Irene Ball, Delphia Ball, Dorothy Stevens and Edith Helton. Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Marsha Bostic Ball; one son, Charlie Sexton and fiancée, Misty; five grandchildren, Charles Sexton, Cody Sexton, Dustin Sexton, Austin Sexton and Gabriel Sexton; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Honaker Funeral Home with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson and Rev. Claude Rose officiating. Interment will follow in the Bowen Cemetery at Council, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Charles Sexton, Cody Sexton, Dustin Sexton, Chris Stevens, Bernard Allen Stevens and Harold Stevens. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Stevens, Berkley Stevens, Rick Helton, Paul Lester, Gary Stevens, Josh Stevens, Elden Ball, Danny Stevens, and Troy Stevens.
