Mark Lash Waldoboro, Maine Obituary

Mark Lash

Family and friends are remembering the life of Mark Wayne Lash who died at his home in Waldoboro on March 14. Mark was a boat repairman by trade and a skilled craftsman, though he was too patient, generous, and forgiving for success in business. He had a gentle and compassionate nature and enjoyed helping others, often being the first to respond to a need. He had a gift for teaching and freely shared his wealth of knowledge and experience with others. He enjoyed taking his hand-crafted boat out on the pond with his brothers and nephews. He will be fondly remembered as the best customer at his daughter’s imaginary hot dog stand. He leaves behind his three brothers and best friends, Tony, Ricky, and Timmy, his sister Missy, his mother Marlene Luce, his father Nelson Lash, his step-father Irville Luce, his daughter Alicia Lawson, four grandchildren, Juliette, Annalise, Dallin, and Gray, his nieces and nephews, Aimee, Anthony, Angie, Hope, Parker, Brianna, Jeremiah, Justin, Kristen, and Tyler. He is predeceased by his sister Tammy and half-brother Joshua. Visiting hours will be held Thursday March 19, 2015 from 11am - 1pm at Hall’s of Waldoboro with a service to follow at 1, officiating is Tom Rawley. Hall’s of Waldoboro has care of the arrangements.
