He was a member of Crossroads Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Terri Fendley Smith of Sweet Water, AL; daughter, Vicky Lynn Smith Johnson of Grove Hill, AL; son, Robert Christopher Smith of Sweet Water, AL; daughter, Franchescia Nicole Smith of Sweet Water, AL; sister, Debra Ballard of Dixons Mills, AL; brothers, David Lee Ballard of Dixons Mills, AL; Benjamin "Benny" Ballard of Magnolia, AL; and sisters, Donna Presley of Fulton, AL; and Lynn Smith of Grove Hill, AL; step-father, Ben Ballard of Linden, AL; three grandchildren, Jacob Christopher Smith, Kayren Alyssa Tucker, and Hunter Dallas Tucker Visitation will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 6 to 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at O'Bryant Chapel Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Glenn Akridge and Rev. Billy Ballard officiating.
