Mr. Antonio “Shod” Montgomery age 28, passed away on March 10, 2015 at his home in Houston, TX. Visitation will be held on Friday March 20, 2015 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday March 21, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill M.B. Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating will be Rev. Eric Jones. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. “Shod” had lived in Houston, TX since September 2014 formerly living in Morton, MS and Louisiana. He joined Shiloh M.B. Church early in life and in 1997 he joined the Pleasant Gift M.B. Church in Morton, MS. “Shod” was a 2005 graduate of Morton High School where he excelled in tennis. He then attended Holmes Community College in Goodman. After college he pursued a career with Wal-Mart which led to a management position. He loved people, playing tennis and singing, he had a smile that would light up the room and a hug that would comfort you .He never met a stranger. “Shod” is survived by his parents, Andre & Lori Ann Lloyd of Morton, MS, Kevin and Tiffiney Walker of Morton, MS; maternal grandmother, Mary Ruth Montgomery of Morton, MS; paternal grandparents, W.C. and Ida Lloyd of Morton, MS, paternal grandmother, Shirley Faye Warnsley of Morton, MS, paternal grandfather, Larry McCoy of Morton, MS; five brothers, Javious Lloyd of Morton, MS, K.D. Walker of Morton, MS, Tristen Walker of Morton, MS, Tavarius Walker of New Orleans, LA, Nick Guyton of Oklahoma; one sister, Kamiah Walker of Forest, MS; one and only favorite nephew, Javion Lloyd of Morton, MS; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
