Steven Eugene Affleck, 50, of Berryville, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center. Mr. Affleck was born January 29, 1965 in Winchester; the son of Lewis Albert Affleck and Joy Maxine Cline Affleck. He was a parts salesman with Parson Kia of Winchester for 14 years. He worked and volunteered with Frederick County Parks and Recreation as a coach and facility manager for over 20 years. He raced and was booth official at the Winchester Speedway. His #1 passions were coaching young people, the Baltimore Ravens and Georgia Bulldogs. Along with his parents, he is survived by his brother, Ernest A. Affleck and his wife, Catherine of Strasburg, VA; his sisters, Wanda S. Gladden of Atlanta, GA and Patricia L. Affleck and her husband, Kirby Place of Stephens City, VA; two nieces; two nephews and a Goddaughter. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Winchester with Dr. Bill Everhart officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Frederick County Parks and Recreation Department, c/o The Play Fund, 107 North Kent Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
