Gregory A. Eyanson, 64, of Berne, passed away at his home on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Greg was born on March 19, 1950 in Adams County to the late Bernard Eyanson and Edith (Clark) Augsburger. On July 17, 1966 he married Brenda D. Grant. Greg was a member of Faith Alive, where he served on the Board. He retired after 30 years as a Truck Driver, where his last place of employment was Stor & Haul in Van Wert. Survivors include his wife Brenda D. Eyanson of Berne; mother-in-law, Marwayne I. Grant of Decatur; Uncle, William Clark of Frostproof, FL; son, William A. Eyanson; daughter, Taya L. (Wade) Augsburger both of Berne; brother William Augsburger of Ft. Wayne; three sisters, Darlene (Thom) McFaul of Ft. Wayne, Linda (Gary) Hodle of Bluffton and Lena (Kurt) Flesher of Auburn; 4 grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) Hicks of Berne, Alex Augsburger of Berne, Zachary and Dalton Eyanson of Portland; two great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Bryson Hicks. He was preceded in death by 2 sons Gregory Allen and Scott Allen Eyanson. A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Faith Alive at 1030 Nuttman Ave with Pastor Rex Grant officiating. Dinner and a time of fellowship will follow at the Common Ground Church at 6555 N Piqua Rd. Memorials are to Faith Alive.
