Peggy Ann Cook, age 60, 236 Opekiska Street, Erwin, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 in the Johnson City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was a native of Flint, Michigan and had lived in Erwin for the past twelve years. Mrs. Cook was a daughter of the late Benson and Doris Hill Wright. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Cook attended the Fountain of Life Church, Johnson City. She was a member of the Erwin Moose Club. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Butch and a sister, Wavia Jean Carsten. Mrs. Cook leaves behind to cherish her memory; two daughters, Jane Cook of Erwin; Angela Noren and husband, David of Lake City, Michigan; a brother, Bill Wright and wife, Jane of Clare, Michigan; Mary Jane Edwards and husband, Bob of Durand, Michigan; Terry Matlock and husband, Larry of Owosso, Michigan; and Linda McKone and husband, Larry of Harrison, Michigan; eight grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Gene Fowler, Reggie and Suzanne Holmes. The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
