Passed away peacefully at Revera Westside, Toronto on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Barbara for 59 years. Loving father to Gary (Anna) and Paul. George will be fondly remembered by his large extended family and friends in Canada and the USA. Predeceased by his parents Vernon and Anne, his sister Olwen and her husband Edward. George will be remembered for his trips to Florida with the dirty dozen, organizing luncheons at the Royal Canadian Legion and his weekly Thursday golf games with Alex, John and Jim. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, (North of Rexdale Blvd.), on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 2pm to 4pm.
