VALIQUETTE, (Katherine) Claire Peacefully at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Friday, February 27, 2015 in her 76th year. Predeceased by her parents Matthew and Rachel (Davidson) and by siblings Winnifred Donnelly, Betty Lawrence, Drusilla Henderson, Allan, Donald, Fr. Roy, Glen Osborne and Geraldine Wagar. Survived by siblings Mildred Langsford of Kingston, Jessie St. Louis of Renfrew, Garnet (Pierrette) of Thunder Bay, Billy (Cathy) of Kapuskasing, Danny of Eganville, and sisters in law Rita of Eganville and Hilda of Deep River. Aunt of many nieces and nephews, faithful and loyal friend to all. Claire was immensely proud of her heritage and her happiest moments were spent during her time as charge nurse at Renfrew Victoria Hospital and in celebration around her table sharing meals and conversation with family and friends. Resting at McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munroe Ave. E., Renfrew on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Parish on Thursday at 12 noon. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Esmonde in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Renfrew Victoria Foundation, Hospice Renfrew or St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Esmonde would be appreciated by the family.
