Michael Smith, 70, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2015 at Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Argyle.

Born July 3, 1944 in Bern, NJ, he was the son of Minnie (Saunders) Smith Davis Minshall and the late Russell T. Smith.

Michael was a Police Officer for many years in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He enjoyed hunting, football, playing chess, spending time with his family, especially loved being outside and helping people.

Besides his father Michael was predeceased by his brother Russell T. Smith Jr.

Left to cherish his memories besides his mother are his two daughters; Melinda Smith and Malissa Smith, his two sons; Matthew Smith and Michael Smith Jr.; His sister Jennifer Whitaker and her life partner Gary Willett, his brother Jonathan Smith and his companion Pauline Overstrom , as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
