Donald R. Johnson, age 72, of Branch passed away at his home on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Donald was born on July 20, 1942 in Grand Rapids son of the late Robert Johnson and Peggy (Coones) Cull. He was retired from Navistar, formerly International Harvester of Melrose Park, Illinois. He was a wonderful and loving husband, father and grandpa. Donald is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Johnson of Branch; son, Bill (Janice) Johnson of Sparta; daughter, Brenda (Rodney) Capeland of Ludington; twin brother, Ronald (Cheryl) Johnson of Fountain; sisters, Joan Klepser of Branch, Judy Holden of Fountain; nine grandchildren; eight nephews, one niece; mother-in-law, Annie Conway of Scottville; two brother-in-laws; three sister-in-laws and his beloved dog, Kim. Funeral services for Donald R. Johnson will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington with Father Joe Fix officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Burial will occur in the spring at Brookside Cemetery in Scottville .
