Fort Edward Marie Frenya, 77, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Albany Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born in Cadyville on January 15, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Russ and Nora Provost. She worked for many years at General Electric in Fort Edward. Marie enjoyed gardening, gambling at the Racino in Saratoga, and most of all, loved spending time with her loving children. Besides her parents, Marie is predeceased by a sister, Theresa Holm. Left to cherish her memories are her children Donald Frenya of Fort Edward, Sandra Rockett of Boston, MA, and Sally Ann Reams of Fishkill, dog, Sammy Frenya of Fort Edward, along with several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins. At Marie’s request, there will be no calling hours or service. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are in the care of M.B.
