SKILLINGS, Norman Leslie - Peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Thursday February 19, 2015. Norman L Skillings of RR# 5 Woodstock in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Ruth Beverley Skillings (nee Hildred) for over 66 years. Loving father and grandfather of Bill Skillings and his wife Brenda, and their children Karrie (Jay) and Rick (Megan); Wilfred Skillings and his wife Clara and their children Shawn, Chrissy(Nick), Jeff (Traci), Jerimie, Matt (Candace) and Adam; Eric Skillings and his wife Annette and their children Christine (Tim) and Mike (Shannon); David Skillings and his wife Connie and their children Ashley and Jack. Dear father in-law of Ruth Martin (nee Collins). Norm was also the cherished great-grandfather of twelve. Dear brother of Bob Skillings and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Robert Beverley “Buffy” Skillings (2014), grandson Jonathan and great-grandaughter Emma, his brothers George, Glen and sisters Luena and Mabel. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Monday February 23, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm where the memorial service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday February 24, 2015 at 11:00am with the Rev.
