Sara Mims Wright age 87 of Bessemer, AL., died February 19, 2015 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was born October 16, 1927 in Clanton, AL. She was a retired home economics teacher with Greensboro Public School and a child nutritionist with Hale County Schools. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Ted) Melton, son, James (Kristy) Wright, and daughter, Jeanne Wright, her sister, Jeanette Mims (John) Teel; four grandchildren, Trey Melton, Alex Melton, Carson Melton, and Ricky Wright She was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin V. Wright and her brother, Edmund Mims Graveside funeral services will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Chris Kynard and Dr. Bobby Dubose officiating.
