Ruth Norsworthy

Mrs. Ruth F. Norsworthy September 25, 1930 – February 18, 2015 　 Mrs. Ruth Norsworthy, age 84, of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015, at home. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. R.L. "Skeeter" Norsworthy. Mrs. Norsworthy was born September 25, 1930 in Pike County, Georgia, to the late Mr. Robert Flournoy and the late Mrs. Nell Crowder Flournoy. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. Mrs. Norsworthy was a loving wife and mother. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Terri and David Huddleston of Griffin, Angie and Tad Chisholm of Griffin, and Kim and Keith Massengale of Griffin; grandchildren, Toni Huddleston-Maimone, Rocco Maimone, Amber Wilkerson, Matthew Wilkerson, Christopher Chisholm, Meagan Chisholm, Jordan Sliger, fiancé Samuel Baskin, Morgan Sliger, and Logan Sliger; great-grandchildren, Trinity Tredinick, Gracie Wilkerson, Beau Chisholm, Elijah Chisholm, Isabella Maimone, and Fischer Wilkerson; sister-in-law Jodi Norsworthy; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Norsworthy will be held Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Canady, Rev. John Nance, and Mr. Larry Eady will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visit the family on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
