Juanita Spencer Moore

Mrs. Juanita Spencer Moore, 73, of Arkabutla, MS, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Tunica Nursing Home in Tunica, MS. Mrs. Moore was born in Tunica County, MS on February 12, 1942 to Wesley Winfield Spencer, I and Christine O'Conner Spencer. She was a member of Evansville Baptist Church and was a member of Eastern Star. Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband of 55 years, John Thomas Moore; one daughter, Jean Shelton and one son, Thomas Kenneth Moore, all of Arkabutla; two sisters, Peggy Baker of Harmontown and Eloise McCormick of Nesbit, MS; one brother, Bernard Spencer of Coldwater, MS; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11am in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Arkabutla. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 6-8pm. The family requests that memorial contributions be made, in lieu of flowers, to Evansville Baptist Church, 471 Evansville Road, Coldwater, MS 38618. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
