Virginia L. Waldrop Moore

Mrs. Virginia L. Waldrop Moore, age 84, a resident of Ludlow, MS passed away on Saturday February 14, 2015 at Mississippi Care Center in Raleigh, MS. Visitation will be held on Monday February 16, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday February 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM at the Lakewood Memorial Park in Clinton, MS. Officiating will be Rev. M.L. Wallace. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Moore was a native of Farmhaven, Ms. and had lived in Ludlow, MS since 1982, formerly living in Jackson, MS and Farmhaven, MS. She was a member of the Ludlow Baptist Church in Ludlow, MS and she was a graduate of Farmhaven High School. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and proud grandmother. She had worked at Kenningtons and as a cashier for Carthage Walmart. Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Waldrop and James Waldrop; two sisters, Lucille Goodson and Dorothy Anderson. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Oree Moore of Ludlow, MS; one daughter, Judy Moore of Ludlow, MS; one son, Tommy Moore of Brandon, MS; one sister, Helen Waldrop of Canton, MS; three grandchildren, Zachary Ryan Moore, Micah Edward Moore, Tristan Thomas Moore; one step granddaughter, Kayla Canterbury.
