Gary Bissett

Gary W. Bissett, 57, of Fairmont, passed away at 2:57am, Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Preston Memorial Hospital. He was born in Everson, October 23, 1957 a son of the late Earl Edward and Sarah Juanita Watson Bissett. Surviving are one son, Gary Rigsby, one grandson, Gary Rigsby, Jr., his step-mother, Mary Bissett, his former wife, Vicky Meadows, three brothers, Roger Bissett and his wife Sue, Fairmont, Danny Bissett and his wife Darlene, Enterprise, John Bissett and his companion Jo Treece, Everson, two sisters, Nancy Bissett, Fairmont, Sarah Juanita Rollyson, Fairmont, one brother-in-law and caregiver, Walter Augustus, Fairmont, three step sisters, Violet Bissett, Clarksburg, Vera and Alice Bissett, Enterprise, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Jimmy Bissett, two sisters, Sandra Summers and JoAnn Augustus, and one brother-in-law, Howard Soward. Gary worked as a Greensman for the Green Hills Country Club in Everson for 15 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, wrestling and spending time with his friends. Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston from 11am until the time of the service at 1pm, Wednesday, February 11, with Pastor Delores White officiating.
